Tax exemption
There is tax exemption on all the Prize money offered by Euro Millions, even the jackpot doesn’t fall under the purview of the tax. In Switzerland, there is an exception. Booster fund to increase the jackpot is used to make the lottery more interesting. This is used for boosting the jackpot in the series of jackpots. It is solely upon the discretion of the members to decide the total playing amount of the jackpot.

The history of Euro Millions dates back to 1994. As a matter of fact, euro millions was about to get launched at the same time when single European currency, but due to some disputed factors like bureaucracy, politics and other unavoidable factors Euro Millions was delayed many number of times and was finally launched approximately ten years later.
The first Euro Millions lottery draw took place on Friday 13th February, 2004. The three lottery organizers were Camelot in the United Kingdom, the Francaise des Jeux in France and the Loterias y Apuestas des Estad in Spain. To know about the price of the first lottery draw was a whooping amount of worth 15 million Euros. On the other side, the highest draw that ever took place was of amount 183,000,000 euros which was bagged by three people. The largest single winner was Delores McNamara who won €115.6 million (9,000,000 or £77,000,000).
