When you travel to another country, you are most likely going to need a type of visa, especially for a long term stay. The second is through an employer sponsorship where you employer will fill out the form, pay the fee to keep you working for them. If you are an asset to your company then this may be the right immigrant visa for your situation.

The final type of visa is for special immigrants. This includes Iraqi or Afghan translators, Iraqis that worked on behalf of the US Government and religious workers.

The amount of time you wait for your visa to be approved varies as does each case. Some people may think that the United States simple picks and chooses who they let in on each day.
