Georgia Medicaid is the trusted name in community health and any kind of medical assistance. • Low income Medicaid or LIM can be availed by the adults and children who live in standards of the old aid to families with dependent children (AFDC) program. The income limits are 5, 6, 4 and 0 per month for family size of 1, 2, 3 and 4.
• RSM is available for adults, newborns, children who are below federal poverty line are eligible. Their eligibility depends on their family size of 1, 2, 3 and 4. Their income limits depends on the family size and varies from 7 per month to ,534 per month.
• For medically needy pregnant women, children, aged, blind and disabled individuals, the income limits vary from 8 to 2 for the family size of 1 and 2. For aged, blind and disabled the income limits are 7 to 5 with resource limits of ,000 and ,000.

How to apply for Medicaid?
To apply for Medicaid one can complete application procedure at designated agencies and local DFCS office through mail, phone, fax and e-mail.  Applications are available in English and Spanish. The applications are registered within a day of receipt by the agency.
